We have no written law on associations in Norway. Association rights therefore consist mostly of non-statutory rules and principles established by case law. Organizations range from major unions like LO and NHO, from trade unions and union clubs to sports clubs and small associations with only a handful of members. These associations may at times need legal assistance, both in interpretation of their statutes and their legal foundation. Some examples are in conjunction with internal disagreements and purpose, foundation and termination. Associations will also have a need for labor law assistance and for assistance related to agreements and contracts. EBT has good experience of working with and for unions.
